My voice as a designer started with a blind adventure into something that I knew I needed answers to. As I developed, I have acquired a heart for change and am seeing the immense impact design has.
Design is a multicultural language that is spoken and digested in individual capacities that aid universal transformation. I can lay out formally what aspects of design inspire me and get me amped, but I have learned there is another side of design that works in tandem to those things, that in my opinion lends to more importance.
For the reason stated above, design, if you allow it to be, is an everlasting endeavor. What excites you? What angers you? What do you want to see change? These questions give you substance reminding you why you started designing in the first place and will be the sustainable characteristic of serving the world through design. When I allow myself to ask those questions, it gives me the ability to help the world answer the same. This is what I want to do as a designer. I want to be a hand in a much bigger story.
